"We had a wonderful day. I took my 4 year old niece and she enjoyed every second. There's 2 slides into the kiddie pool and my niece was even able to go down some of the larger slides with me. The new owners have renovated and are continuing to improve the facility. We'll definitely be back. All of the staff were attentive and very friendly."

"Prices are OK for a small family of 2-4 people. You spend more time waiting in line than on the slides, but they are close, so you can go to another slide that has fewer people until the line gets smaller. Good for kids 3 (walking)-17. Go Karts are fun, $7 per person for 12 laps, not bad. Food is OK and reasonably priced. A few more canapés for the tables would be amazing just for more options. Lifeguards are very polite and helpful. Walkways are hot hot so don't forget some water shoes for the kids! Water is clear, and the lazy river is a decent size. "This past Wednesday was the first time I have been to Thunder Island in about 18 years. I love the size of the park, the location of the park, and all the things the kids can do here. The park offers mainly water attractions, however they have mini golf, bumper cars, an inside small gift/candy shoppe, and some sort of zip line ride which was very fun. The kiddie pool water slides were AWESOME! And the pool area for them is great. The only real downfalls for me were the Bees, and the concrete ground which is TERRIBLE on the feet.
