"Terrible experience. Had online order shipped to this store. Got email saying it was ready. When I got there after 2 hours driving I was told it was not ready and still on the truck. Was told to come back tomorrow. Sales person who seemed to be in charge got up out of chair said it was an online issue and customers need to call. Where was that in the email? She offered no alternative and basically could have cared less. I cancelled the order and will never order or visit a West Marine again. Too bad I can't get my $25 back for the gold membership. Keep your money and buy from someplace else"

"My husband and I purchased a boat handle online. Turned out it wouldn't work on our boat. So I just wanted to return it and get a refund. Nothing wrong with it. So I called an was told "we don't send a free return labels that I have to bring it to one of there stores". I said we live over 100 miles from the nearest store. So I can't return it. It did NOT say if you buy online you can't get a refund if you don't want it or it doesn't fit. Will not shop there ever."
