"When I am in the mood for a workout with my mountain bike I head for this park. Its close to where I live. The trails are well maintained and they can be a challenge. You could spend a day here riding or hiking. There are plenty of trailheads and lots of parking."

"This is the best place to mountain bike in the Denver area (different story once you drive farther west into the mountains). Rooney Valley Trail is my personal favorite at Green Mountain and it's a great adrenaline rush and workout. The views from the top can also make you feel like you're in a different world."

"Great location to go biking or hiking with the family and/or your dogs. Beautiful views throughout and is a great work out with the steep uphill and downhill climbs. There are numerous ways to enter the area and everything is very well kept and maintained. For me the best part about this area is truly the views and being around the natural wildlife while on my hike. I'd absolutely recommend checking this place out and I'll definitely return."
