Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Cedars

While dealing with an active shooter incident at Kay Bailey, Alamo Drafthouse allowed many cheerleaders and families to shelter and hide while they locked the doors to protect everyone inside. I can never thank them enough because my daughter was one of the cheerleaders who had been running while my husband and I stayed in the building to try and stop the threat and get people out (we are first responders). You allowed these strangers into your back rooms and allowed them to hide until it was all clear and you definitely did not have to do that. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. I will forever be grateful for your heroic actions that day.

It's a fun experience but not for the costs. Not much parking, seats barely recline, food tables don't move and have to lean forward, also a $10 service fee. So after paying for a movie plus a $13 popcorn and the service fee, it was like $50 for one person. Fun but not worth it considering their are places that do it cheaper in the area!

Nice front desk worker, but still gotta give 1 star here. Hardly any parking available, roads blocked off for no reason everywhere. After driving around for 10 minutes to find a spot, we were refused entry into the theatre because it’s against policy apparently. Just go to a different theatre. They’re a dime a dozen in Dallas & the others aren’t crap.

I really like the seats. The sound system is good. The picture is excellent. I enjoy the menu. My only complaint is that the french fries are always cold. I've even asked the wait staff to make sure that our french fries were hot, yet they are always cold when we get them.

I love Alamo Drafthouse but I hate THIS Alamo Drafthouse. 1. 30 minutes into the movie to take our orders 2. Forgot appetizer but still charged 3. No service throughout 4. And worst of all the whole theatre was stuck after credits waiting for receipt and my card back Attached is a picture of us all waiting for our cards back well after the movie
