Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Lake Highlands

Movie experience itself is really good as always! Had a rough service. The actual server seemed attentive and like she was on top of it trying to help a packed showing. The person running the food and drinks was constantly giving food to the table next to us, and their food to us. We were asked and offered the cookies we ordered three times. When I received the check, they had put all of the orders from the table next to me onto my check, in addition to my order. When I outlined what was actually mine, the next check had a pizza added to it. It was a very confusing experience but I want to believe it was just a rough service. It looks like other checks besides ours had been incorrect as well. The food expediters seem to need a bit more training, or at least pay closer attention to where their orders are going. But I understand things happen.

The movie was great, but the waitress Nate was terrible He took forever to bring our food about an hour just for some popcorn, but the people next to us got it before us and we had to sit down 10 minutes before they did. He had a very nasty attitude. and all the seats are peeling

This one blonde lady with glasses that sits at the front loves to only stop my partner or me and my partner when we are together despite there being tons of other (usually white) people around. Racist??? Feels like it. Strange?? Definitely. Usually you can just go on through without talking to anyone since they check your tickets in the theater, yet on multiple occasions we have been singled out. She has carded us and stopped my partner from entering the theater for being late and I understand the policy but she does not seem to enforce the policies on anyone else who is around?? Did not see her card anyone else or stop and ask anyone else what movie they were going to see. She was absolutely useless as well when we were trying to get a refund for a movie my partner missed. I also think the no late policy is just dumb since it would be the same if I had gotten up to use the bathroom and went back. The incompetent waiters are far more distracting then people coming in late either way. Also might I add we got carded to see the MINECRAFT movie.

It was such a lovely experience. I had the pleasure of attending the Holland special screening. The young man checking the list was extremely friendly and welcoming. The seats are large and comfortable, and the menu was a pretty decent size. I would recommend this theater.

We usually go to the other Alamo Theater in Dallas. Tonight we came to watch A COMPLETE UNKNOWN. The person at the ticketing area was responsive and even gave us a give away related to our film. The wait staff was efficient and helpful. The bathrooms were not perfectly clean after the movie. There were no paper towels for washing hands although the employee was changing one of the rolls. Great seats. Great movie experience.
