NOC Chattahoochee Outpost - Powers Island

"I went on a little adventure with a big group of friends in August. The river was super cold even in late summer so thankfully the sun was quick to warm up our tubes. What makes this little 2-3 hour trip doable is all the help we received at our outpost. Staff lets you use their air hose for blowing up your tubes, sell life jackets, and buy water, etc. (the river constables will fine you if you don't have them on your person). And I had so much fun! There are several parts with dips and a place where you can stop for cliff diving. So you can definitely take your time with it. Most will park @"

"Well, I can now say that "I've shot the hooch! Rafting and tubing down the Chattahoochee River with 100 of my closest friends, a little bit to drink and a little bit to eat. #1- You will get wet #2- Wear a hat and sunscreen #3- Pay extra to rent a canoe, you'll get less wet and have more control. It was fun, I'd do it again."

"We had such a wonderful time floating the river today!!! Seth helped my whole family choose the best options for each of us and we ended up doing a combo of individual tubes and the boats. Seth was really great and knowledgeable about the water, and for the first timers in our group it was essential information to us having a safe and wonderful time.
